About
Welcome to my site Sweet No More.
My name is Marika Cavalli, born in 1967 and raised in Roslagen, Sweden. My interest in psychology, nutrition, lifestyle, and how everything is connected has been with me for a long time.
I have a training as an Ayurvedic Health Practitioner, completed in 2009 in Stockholm at the Scandinavian Institute of Health with Ayurvedic doctor Dr. Vinay Vora and co-founder Johan Ljungsberg. Ayurveda Akademin was founded in 1996 and offers courses, consultations, and professional training in Ayurveda in Sweden.
The Ayurvedic perspective on life is something I have carried with me since 2009 — a way to reflect, create balance, and navigate everyday life with greater awareness
I have also completed additional courses in Ayurvedic head massage, courses in essential oils from an Ayurvedic perspective and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). In addition trainings at Axelsons in Oslo and Stockholm; Stress management and Facelift massage.
In 2017, I began my training in hypnotherapy in Oslo, starting with the foundational Level 1 course and progressing through to Advanced Hypnotherapy Level 4. I later continued my studies in RTT (Rapid Transformational Therapy) with British hypnotherapist Marisa Peer.
These educations have given me a solid foundation of knowledge, and now, after several years of working with clients, I can honestly say that I have “the best job in the world.” It brings me great joy to see my clients experience positive changes after hypnotherapy sessions or healthcoaching with me.
I don’t know of any method that is as fast and effective as hypnosis. If the client is willing to open up to new solutions, results will follow.
I have personally gone through major changes in life, which has given me experience with personal growth, transformation, and working toward something better. I know that improvement is always possible, no matter the situation. Nothing a client brings to me makes me think it is hopeless. There is always something we can do to approach a situation differently, so that we can feel better.
My vision as a therapist is that we all deserve to feel well and live fulfilling lives. One of the most important foundations for well-being is relaxation — both mental and physical — as well as the ability to “manage our thoughts.” What do I mean by that? Life contains joy, worries, and sorrow for all of us, but it is how we handle stress and concerns that determines whether stress will “consume us” and take over our lives.
The brain can be trained to experience and handle stress in a new and more constructive way. We have far more control over our thoughts than we often believe, and hypnosis is a highly effective method for creating positive change.
We can learn to manage our thoughts instead of allowing our thoughts to control us. That creates a completely new everyday life.
You are welcome to book a free consultation call where we can explore whether hypnotherapy and coaching with me could be right for you.
Welcome!
Marika
The Swallow
When I decided to create the Sweet No More website, the swallow kept appearing.
I began seeing and hearing swallows more than usual, and during a trip to Cuenca i Spain with my son and his girlfriend, we stayed at her family’s house. There, I noticed a set of dishes decorated with swallows.
That was the moment I understood I should look into the symbolism of the swallow.
It was completely aligned with what I want to express through my website: hope, faith, transformation and personal growth. That’s why I chose the swallow as the logo.
The swallow has throughout history been a powerful symbol of freedom, hope, homecoming, and transformation. It appears in many cultures, myths, and spiritual traditions, often as a messenger between different worlds or as a sign of change and brighter times ahead.
Here are some of the most common meanings:
Spiritual Meaning
Freedom and the movement of the soul
The swallow flies lightly and swiftly through the air and often symbolizes freedom, independence, and following your own heart.
Hope and new beginnings
Because swallows return in spring, they are seen as a sign that darker periods are ending and new life is beginning.
Transformation and personal growth
Many see the swallow as a symbol of leaving the old behind and daring to move forward into something new.
Trust and guidance
Spiritually, the swallow can symbolize being guided — that life is moving in the right direction even if you cannot yet see the whole path.
The soul’s journey
In some traditions, birds are seen as messengers between the earthly and the spiritual realms. The swallow is therefore associated with intuition, spiritual freedom, and connection to something greater.
Emotional and Psychological Meaning
Home and safety
Swallows often return to the same place year after year. Because of this, they also symbolize homecoming, loyalty, and finding your way back to yourself.
Lightness and joy
There is something playful and gentle in the swallow’s movements. It can remind us not to carry life too heavily.
Letting go of control
The swallow’s flight is intuitive and flowing. Symbolically, it can represent trusting the flow of life more deeply.
In Love and Relationships
- Faithfulness and loyalty
- Deep connection
- Returning to the one you love
- Love that survives distance and time
Two swallows together often symbolize soul-level love or partnership.
In Tattoos and Traditional Symbolism
Swallows are a classic tattoo symbol with a long history.
For sailors, the swallow symbolized:
- a safe return home
- hope after long journeys
- experience and courage
- always finding your way home
From this also comes the symbolism of:
- life journeys
- survival
- a free spirit
- never losing your direction
In Different Cultures
- Christianity: hope, resurrection, and faith
- Greek mythology: love and loyalty
- Chinese symbolism: happiness, spring, and feminine energy
- Nordic folklore and symbolism: summer, vitality, and the return of nature
If the Swallow Appears Frequently in Your Life
Many spiritual traditions would interpret this as:
- a new phase is approaching
- you need to follow your heart more closely
- freedom or change is calling you
- you are beginning to find “home” within yourself
- something lighter wants to enter your life after a heavier period
The swallow carries a very soft yet powerful energy — free, intuitive, and deeply loyal at the same time.
